xView3 Challenge: Detecting Illegal, Unreported, and Unregulated Fishing Vessels

Illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing is an issue that negatively affects food supply, ecosystem health, and many more challenges and systems. Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite imagery offers a tool to detect vessels participating in IUU fishing that would not have been detectable. In this challenge, competitors will develop algorithms to identify SAR satellite images of suspected vessels. To learn more and register for this challenger, click here.
