A Brazilian Perspective on the G20: Debriefing the First Ministerial Meeting

Brazil assumed the presidency of the G20 in December 2023, a significant role in foreign policy for President Lula’s administration. The G20 includes the 19 wealthiest countries globally, alongside the African Union and the European Union. Following the inaugural ministerial meeting of Foreign Affairs Ministers in February 2024, Bruna Santos and Lourival Sant’Anna will provide insights on the key topics discussed, emerging tensions, and prospects.
