The Future of Public-Private Partnerships in Food Systems: Policies and Practices

December 14, 2023 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

December 14, 2023 | 1:00 – 2:30 pm EST | Hybrid

Over the past year, the CSIS Project on Prosperity and Development and the CSIS Global Food and Water Security Program, in partnership with the PepsiCo Foundation embarked on a research project analyzing public-private partnerships in food security and agriculture, distilling the best practices and identifying the challenges in structuring these collaborations. Please join us on December 14th, 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM EST for the final featured discussion.

The private sector plays an instrumental role in strengthening food systems around the world by providing financial resources, technical expertise, and innovation. Working with governments, companies can encourage modern agricultural practices to address global food challenges. Meaningful public-private partnerships can serve as conduits to help increase farmers’ access to markets, improve agricultural productivity, and achieve greater scale. This discussion will highlight the key findings for driving more effective and innovative partnerships in food systems.

More speakers to be announced soon.

This event was made possible through the generous support of the PepsiCo Foundation.
