About the Speaker

Commodore Jeremy Bailey joined the Royal Navy as a Marine Engineer in 1992. He has had a wide and varied 30 years in the Royal Navy at sea on operations and in the support organisations. He assumed Command of HMNB Portsmouth in March 2019 and has delivered the Naval Base contribution to the Royal Navy’s outputs, including maintaining outputs through COVID, along with a programme of development to realise the Portsmouth ambition to be amongst the World’s Best 21st Century Naval Bases.
