Their alliances with Mexican cartels, such as the Sinaloa Cartel, facilitate the distribution of fentanyl and the laundering of drug profits. These networks use sophisticated schemes involving cryptocurrency and trade-based money laundering to hide their financial activities. The report offers a range of policy recommendations, including enhanced law enforcement resources, international task forces, and stricter regulations on Chinese criminal activities.
