Pursuant to paragraph 378 of resolution 77/248 of 30 November 2022, the twenty-third meeting of the United Nations Open-ended Informal Consultative Process on Oceans and the Law of the Sea, in 2023, will, in its deliberations on the Report of the Secretary-General on oceans and the law of the sea, focus its discussions on the theme: “New Maritime Technologies: Challenges and Opportunities”. The opening session of the meeting, together with the panel discussions, will be webcast on on UN Web TV.
